What to Expect on Your First Visit
Consultation with Mt. Pleasant Modern Dentistry
Once you feel comfortable and at ease, Dr. Alderman will spend time reviewing your medical and dental history. We strive to be as well-informed as possible regarding your oral health. Dr. Alderman might want to start with a Panoramic image, utilizing our brand new, state-of-the-art, low radiation Vatech Machine. This machine has the ability to capture a two-dimensional (2-D) dental x-ray examination that captures the entire mouth in a single image, including the teeth, upper and lower jaws, surrounding structures and tissues. He will consult with you about your personal needs, carefully considering your concerns and explaining your treatment options in a language that is easy to understand.
Examination and X-Rays
Typically, at a first dental appointment, Dr. Alderman will review your health and dental history and perform a comprehensive exam of your teeth. He can also check your x-rays and provide thorough teeth cleaning with a skilled dental hygienist. Any further treatment required will be discussed in detail, allowing you plenty of time to ask questions.
