Dental fear is very common. Fear can often prevent patients from recieving much needed dental treatment, for this reason we are happy to offer oral conscious sedation. We will dispense a combination of oral sedatives to keep you nice & relaxed. This is a simple & safe process that involves administering medication to help you get a good nights rest the night prior to your pocedure followed by medication to take 1 hour prior to the procedure. Oral Sedation makes you quite groggy, and you may fall asleep. You will still be able to communicate if necessary, and you'll awake with a gentle nudge. Oral Sedation will temporarily affect your memory and motor skills.

Yes. Many kinds of lasers are used in today’s dentistry, and we use several of them! Most commonly, we use a soft tissue laser for several gum treatments, including gum grafts, crown lengthening, and to treat gum disease. When using a laser, typically we do not need stitches to close incisions, and bleeding is minimal – making for far less invasive procedures. 

Dr. Alderman also uses Laser therapy for patients who suffer from Cold Sores and chronic Ulsurs as well as Tissue Biopsy and Treatment of Pre-Cancerous Lesions.
